Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal Administration Head, Heri Purnomo, said the returning flow surge started on Friday afternoon (4/4).
Based on the data, there were 927 passengers with 65 buses arrived on Friday (4/4). Then 216 passengers with 24 buses on Saturday morning (4/5).
"Mostly the passengers came from Central Java and East Java. It is predicted more passengers to come up to Sunday," he said.
His party together with other related elements continue to conduct driver health checks and vehicle condition inspections to provide security and comfort to passengers.
"Bus terminal condition remains stable. Health and security posts are also standby," he added.
One of the passengers from Purbalingga, Central Java, Yanti (45), admitted she arrived in Jakarta after spending holiday on hometown since March 25.
"My husband starts to work on Monday. My children also start their school," she admitted.
