Fire burned a house on Jalan Akmaliah II RT 05/02 No.17, Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Sunday (4/6) at 8:45 AM. The fire was allegedly caused by a gas stove that the owner forgot to turn it off.

East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Muchtar Zakaria said the fire incident that burned Mamat's house happened where one of inhabitants was cooking and left the stove.

Seeing the fire grew up, local residents tried to extinguish the fire. The fire then was extinguished at 9:20 AM.
"We deployed one firetrucks and three personnel to spray the area. It aimed to cooling down the debris," he added.
There were no fatalities or injuries in the incident, but the building owner had to lose his house.
