"I support it, and if necessary, we can add more parks to operate 24 hours," he expressed, at City Council building, Wednesdsy (4/9).

He also reminded that the operation of the park 24 hours required strict supervision to prevent the park from being misused for negative purposes.

"Supervision must be tightened. Maximize parks for residents to refresh. Indeed, the economic and social tensions are already high, so they need a refreshing. I support the opening of parks 24 hours," he asserted.

He added residents who want to engage in activities at the park location would be recorded, as well as their schedules and area zones would be adjusted, making it easier for monitoring and management.

"Usually, the sports in the park only go until 5 PM, we will try to open in the evening for futsal and badminton, of course with the approval of the local residents," he added.

To maximize the security, the Jakarta Government would also involve the mayor, neighborhood units (RT/RW), and locals.
