The meeting discussed the potential for increasing cooperation between Jakarta and France in various sectors.
Governor's Special Staff for Public Communication, Chico Hakim said the meeting was held to strengthen the good relations that have been established, considering that Jakarta and Paris have been Sister Cities since 1995.

The meeting discussed potential cooperations such as fashion, cinema, music, gastronomy, and inter-city communication.
As in the fashion sector, one of the potential collaborations discussed was the participation of the Jakarta delegation in Paris Fashion Week. Meanwhile, in the cinema sector, the collaboration that has been established so far is the film festival in Yogyakarta. This collaboration is expected to be developed in Jakarta.
Chico stated France musicians are planned to perform at Kota Tua in June for Jakarta'a anniversary event series.
"As in gastronomy or food, we all know that there are many France restaurants in Jakarta. There will be a cooperation in October," he stated.
Jakarta Regional Secretariat's Bureau of Cooperation Head, Marulina Dewi admitted hopefully the Francr Ambassador's visit will strengthen the cooperation between Jakarta and France in five sectors.
"The five sectors are music, fashion, culture and also strengthening the communication. The last one is important for Jakarta as its transition into a global city. Powerful network must be made," she said.
