Development of the Featured Area on Jalan Manyar Has Been Completed

The featured area development of the first quarter on Jalan Manyar, RT 04/08, Bintaro Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, South Jakarta, has been completed.

Bintaro Urban Village Secretary, Ali Irfan Iskandarsyah, stated that the area, which was previously unkempt and used as a dumping ground as well as a gathering spot for online motorcycle taxis, has now been transformed.

"Regarding the concept for redesigning the park, we have collaborated with a renowned architect from Pesanggrahan Sub-district, who has also contributed to the design of every featured areas in Pesanggrahan Sub-district," he added, Tuesday (4/15).

The 295-square-meter land was redeveloped since January 2025 by deploying 15 local orange troops assisted by South Jakarta Bina Marga and City Park and Forestry Sub-agency personnel.

Ali hopes with the newly renovated Manyar Park will make it a pride for the local community, serving as a space for interaction, play, and fostering a sense of togetherness among the residents.

"Use it properly, take good care of it, and utilize it well," he asserted.

Meanwhile, a local resident, Arifin (52) expressed his happiness for the new face of the park that is neat, greener, and more beautiful.

"The concept is excellent. Of course, we will help to take good care of this park," he said.
