The Blue Taskforce personnel of Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency dredged water channel on Jalan Dukuh Pinggir and Jalan Mutiara 1 RT 07/04 Bendungan Hilir Urban Village, Tanah Abang.

Tanah Abang Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari said the channel dredging is aimed to optimize the channel in handling the inundation during heavy rain.

Two Channels Undergo Normalization in Tanah AbangEli explained water channel on Jalan Dukuh Pinggir 1 size is 40 cm of height and width along 450 meters. Then on Jalan Mutiara RT 08/04 is 60 cm of width and 80 cm of height.
"We deployed four taskforce personnel for each location," she added.
The work progress on Jalan Dukuh Pinggir 1 has reached 85 percent, then on Jalan Mutiara RT 07/04 progress is 10 percent.
"It is targeted to complete by the end of this month," she stated.
