Jakarta Provincial Government provided free public transportation fares for women on Kartini Day, April 21, 2025. It was appreciated by Jakarta LRT women passengers.

Evita Sari (42), living in Kelapa Gading Timur Irban Village, said the policy helped her much to reach her destination from Jakarta LRT Boulevard Selatan Station to Pegangsaan Dua Station.
"I hope this policy can be held routinely. It surely save my expense," she said, Monday (4/21).

"After riding LRT, we'll go to Sudirman to try MRT with my friends. Just to go around while enjoying this program," she said.
Meanwhile, a resident living in Tugu Selatan, Alifah Wulandari (35), admitted happy to invite her child riding LRT for free. It's their first time to try the transportation.
She hoped this program can be held routinely since it helps lower class people in transportation expense.
"We brought our e-Money card as the requirement to get the program benefit. We also rode Transjakarta for free. Thanks to Jakarta Provincial Government," she expressed.
