Jakarta MRT Implements Special Fare on Kartini Day, Check the Terms and Conditions Here!

PT MRT Jakarta welcomes the Jakarta Government's policy to provide free public transportation services on April 21, 2025, to commemorate Kartini Day and National Transportation Day on April 24, 2025.

The fare of Rp 1 per trip for MRT Jakarta users (specifically for women) on April 21 can be accessed through the use of electronic money cards and JakLingko app. Meanwhile, on April 24, they can pay via e-wallets, digital banks, credit cards, BNPL in the MyMRTJ app, MyMRTJ Lite ticket vending machines, JakLingko, and various electronic money cards.

PT MRT's Corporate Secretary Division Head, Ahmad Pratomo said this policy is part of the Jakarta Government's efforts to boost the use of public transportation and strengthen its commitment to sustainable urban development.

"As part of the integrated public transportation system in Jakarta, we fully support this initiative and have coordinated with the Jakarta Transportation Agency to ensure its smooth implementation at all MRT stations in Jakarta," he expressed, Monday (4/21).

His party was committed to supporting the Jakarta Government's policy to improve accessibility to comfortable, safe, and efficient public transportation for the public.

"This free service program is part of the appreciation for the role of women on Kartini Day and the importance of public transportation on National Transportation Day," he added.

Here are the terms and conditions for the special fare of Rp 1 for Kartini Day:

Enjoy free MRT rides with a special fare of Rp 1 per trip only on April 21 to support the mobility of the community, especially women, in celebrating Kartini Day

• Applicable for trips by both new and existing customers of MRT Jakarta using Electronic Money Cards from banks issued in 2019 and beyond

• The special fare of Rp 1 per trip applies to female customers who own a Bank Electronic Money Card with a minimum balance of Rp 14,000

• Female customers can use the designated Customer entrance provided at every MRT Jakarta station on April 21
