The South Jakarta Bogor Regency National and Political Unity Office (Kesbangpol) holds activities to enhance the prevention of brawls for neighborhood leaders and community forums.
The activities can serve as a preventive effort to prevent brawls
The online and offline activities held to create a conducive environment received appreciation from the Assistant for South Jakarta Government, Mukhlisin.
To maintain environmental safety and comfort, it should not solely become the burden and responsibility of security forces and the government, but also the obligation of all residents to raise awareness among each individual.
24-Hour Parks Should Decrease Brawl, Pramono Hopes"Hopefully, the activities can serve as a preventive effort to prevent brawls starting immediately from the smallest scope, which is the family," he expressed, in the Nusantara Meeting Room of the South Jakarta Mayor's Office, Wednesday (4/23).
He explained parental supervision of children has become important in the digital era today, especially in anticipating negative content that may impact children's behavior.
Then the environment also plays a role in creating a conducive atmosphere. This allows every person to engage in activities safely and comfortably, while gradually shaping a character of the environment that has a high sense of empathy towards others.
"I hope the participants can actively absorb all the material that will be presented by the speakers and can implement it and pass it on to others," he hoped.
South Jakarta Kesbangpol Sub-agency Head, Dirhamul Nugraha explained this activity was expected to enhance public understanding and awareness of the dangers and impacts of brawls.
"There are 60 participants attending in person and dozens more participating online, featuring competent speakers, including from the police," he explained.
He added community figures were involved, as they have influence in the community.
"We want them to be able to disseminate this violence prevention material widely and accurately in their environment," he said.
