Popular sports activities can be optimized to improve performance

According to her, there were many things that could be done, such as getting involved in community organizations at the educational level to improve intellectual and healthy networks. They could even develop their creativity and achievements through sports activities and others.

"Popular sports activities can be optimized to improve performance," she continued, Friday (1/10).

She explained brawls are a reflection of teenagers' search for identity. Thereby, the government, educators, and parents need to collaborate in creating positive activities and creative spaces for teenagers.

Aside that, they also need to gain a good understanding of the negative impacts of violent acts. Resolving the brawl problem is also the responsibility of all other elements of society.

As for the information, the East Jakarta City administration held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to find a strategy for handling brawls on Wednesday (1/8). East Jakarta Acting Mayor, Iin Mutmainnah stated, the results of this FGD would be outlined in a formulation which would be followed up with policy making at the city level.

"Handling of brawl cases must be done comprehensively with related stakeholders. We will also ask for input from RT/RW administrators," she stated.
