According to him, the shady trees also blocked the public street lights.
"The pruning is targeted on Jalan Taman Malaka Utara 5, Jalan Haji Naman, Jalan Raya Pahlawan Revolusi, and Jalan Bambu Duri," he added.
Meanwhile, Pondok Bambu Urban Village Vice Chairman of Lembaga Musyawarah, Heru Irianto Basuki appreciated the tree pruning in the area.
"Tree pruning should be routinely conducted to prevent fallen tree for the sake of resident safety," he admitted.
