He also mentioned that other upcoming Transjabodetabek routes will connect Jakarta with Bekasi, Depok, Bogor, and Sawangan.

"I have already requested the Head of Transportation Agency and President Director of Transjakarta to prepare what I call with Transjabodetabek," he conveyed.

According to him, 91 percent of Jakarta area is now served by public transport. Moving forward, JakLingko program will be expanded to Jakarta's buffer zones and equipped with parking facilities to make it easier for residents to use public transport.

Banten Governor Andra Soni who also tried the new route, appreciated the efforts of Jakarta Government's efforts to coordinate with toll road operators to facilitate Transjabodetabek trip.

"The new route from Transjakarta, alhamdulillah, today begins its service from Alam Sutera to Blok M," he conveyed.

According to him, the new Transjabodetabek route will encourage more people to switch from using private vehicles to public transportation. He hopes that Jakarta's public transportation system, which has been integrated with other agglomeration areas, can address traffic congestion issues.

"Thank you to the Special Region of Jakarta and earlier he also conveyed that we may propose other routes that certainly align with the mobility of these Transjakarta bus," he added.

Meanwhile, Efendi (57), one of the passengers on Transjabodetabek bus for Blok M-Alam Sutera route, appreciated the launch of this new route. According to him, this new route is very helpful and make it easier for people living around Alam Sutera to reach Blok M.

"Alhamdulillah, there is a new route opened in Alam Sutera. This is something good, because Alam Sutera also serves as a support area for Jakarta and its surrounding," he said.
