Again, Transjakarta Offers Special Fare of Rp 1 Today

In commemoration of National Transportation Day 2025, the Jakarta Government is offering a special fare of Rp 1 for residents using public transportation.

We'll keep enhancing services from all aspects

This policy applies to all modes of public transportation under the auspices of Regional State-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), including Transjakarta.

PT Transportasi Jakarta's Secretary and Public Relations Division Head, Tjahyadi said this special fare applies across the entire Transjakarta service network, both Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Non-BRT, from 5 AM to 12 AM.

Meanwhile, the Mikrotrans small bus service and Transjakarta Cares or Transcare, as well as the free service for certain communities that already have a fixed fare of Rp 0, remain in effect, following Gubernatorial Regulation Number 160/2016.

"We invite residents to take advantage of the available public transportation. Thus, indirectly, they contribute to achieving the Net Zero Emission target set to be met by 2060," he expressed, Thursday (4/24).

He asserted, Transjakarta is part of the Jakarta Government committed to continuously providing safe, comfortable, and inclusive public transportation services for all customers.

"We'll keep enhancing services from all aspects considering Transjakarta is not only a public transportation mode, but also a platform that is part of the lifestyle of the community," he explained.

As information, currently Transjakarta serves more than 1.3 million customers every day.

With this special rate of Rp 1, I hope more people will use Transjakarta, not just today but in the future as well.
