Jakarta Provincial Government together with Development Basket League (DBL) Indonesia are committed to run various basketball and youth development.

It was stated by Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung while attending the Kopi Good Day Development Basket League (DBL) Indonesia Festival at Grand Atrium Mall Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta, Saturday (5/3).
"Jakarta Provincial Government will cooperate with DBL Indonesia to advance basketball. We'll prepare the facility," Pramono said.
Meeting DBL CEO, Pramono Commits Supporting Student BasketballPram explained that the form of cooperation with DBL Indonesia is like his commitment that has been stated repeatedly in a number of other sporting events. He emphasized that Jakarta is open to becoming a sport tourism city.
Pramono added that Jakarta is ready to host a sport event if the event can not be held in other areas. It includes the implementation of student sport week and so on.
Pram continued that in addition to basketball, several sports have scheduled international events in Jakarta. Among them are running, hockey, football and futsal.
Therefore, he hopes that DBL Indonesia can also collaborate with the Jakarta Provincial Government to hold various national and international activities.
DBL Indonesia CEO, Azrul Ananda, appreciated the presence of the governor. According to him, Jakarta has been the province with the largest number of participants and spectators so far.
Azrul stated event held by DBL will be run smoothly with the support of Jakarta Provincial Government.
Azrul also admitted that Pramono has shown basketball facilities in the districts.
Together with the governor, Azrul also has discussed collaboration between schools and DBL Indonesia.
Several programs related to the development of young people's potential include Teacher Empowerment through digital training (My Super Teacher) and the selection of students from Jakarta schools to participate in basketball training programs.
Then, activate school MSMEs and student entrepreneurs fostered by Jakpreneur and the MSME Agency in exhibitions at several DBL event venues.
"This surely gives chance for youth to do sport and self development," he admitted.
As for information, Kopi Good Day DBL Camp 2025 is held on April 29 to May 4 at Soemantri Brodjonegoro Sport Hall, South Jakarta.
The activity involves 262 participants namely 131 boys and 131 girls, and 54 coaches from various regions in Indonesia.
They participate intensive basketball training for a week by world-class coaches from WBA Australia, led directly by Australian basketball legend Andrew Vlahov, and the DBL Academy coaches.
