Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung met Founder & CEO Developmental Basketball League (DBL) Indonesia, Azrul Ananda, at City Hall Jakarta, Monday (4/14).

"Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to support the implementation of DBL in Jakarta. It's great for us. We have also similar hobby in basketball," Pramono said.
Pramono added student basketball competition is positive for basketball development, especially for students in Jakarta.
"DBL is good for basketball development, especially for students in Jakarta," Pramono added.
Meanwhile, Pramono continued Azrul Ananda came to City Hall by taking bicycle from Surabaya. Azrul's cycling activity was his promise if his basketball team won the DBL match.
"This is part of commitment of people who is personnaly close to me in sport sector," he continued.
He also appreciates Azrul's commitment for taking 825 kilometer from Surabaya to City Hall Jakarta on his bicycle.
"Hopefully it will be an inspiration since there was a man namely Kohai aged 75 years old also participated in the activity," Pramono stated.
Meanwhile, Azrul who is also President of Persebaya Football Club, explained his journey with his bicycle from Surabaya-Jakarta. He took three days from Friday morning to Sunday. He took 300 km from Surabaya-Salatiga, then 280 km from Salatiga-Cirebon, and 245 km of Cirebon-Jakarta. He went the activity with his partners.
"I need to fulfill my commitment. Mr Pram will never be like this if he is a man without commitment. I hope this will give spirit for him in running his duty as Jakarta Governor," he explained.
