Transjakarta Bus Driver Named as The Suspect

The Tranjakarta bus driver who hit some vehicles at Jalan Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Monday morning (6/22) has named as the suspect due to his negligence driving the bus causing some people injured and vehicles broken. 

The driver is named as the suspect due to his negligence. He said it was caused by brake failure

During investigation in City Police Traffic Unit, UK (26) admitted the accident was caused by brake failure. "The driver is named as the suspect due to his negligence. He said it was caused  by brake failure," said Chief of Traffic Accident Law Enforcement  Operation Section for City Police Traffic Unit, AKP Samakun. 

Nevertheless, according to Samakun, until this time the investigation keeps being conducted intensively by the investigator against to the driver and bus crew. "It is still being investigated deeply," he uttered.

The accident which involved Transjakarta bus B 7500 IX occured in front of Gas Station 34-12702 located at Jalan Mampang Prapatan towards Jalan Buncit Raya. The bus hit 8 motorcycles and 2 cars. "There are 7 casualties and admitted in JMC Hospital, Medistra, and Tebet," he told.
