The attack and vandalism action committed by street vendors in Lenggang Jakarta area, Ex-IRTI Monas Field on last Saturday (6/20), causing the Monas management side lost Rp 100 million.

Many public facilities in Monas were damaged by street vendors. They are starting from window glass, LCD TV, and management office and toilet glasses.

“We directly record the assets that have been damaged, and then reported the case to the Central Jakarta Resort Police for further process,” expressed Sri Indriastuti, Section Head of Small and Medium Business (UMKM) for Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Department, Monday (6/22).

Indriastuti detailed those damaged assets are 4 LED TVs, 2 computers, 1 printer, 1 filing cabinet, 10 lamps, management office glasses, toilet glasses, office table seats, cashier counter and Lenggang Jakarta logo.

“For reparation, should wait for an evaluation report first. Yet we will discuss it with related unit, like Sosro and others,” she disclosed.
