Pramono Launches IPA Buaran III with a Capacity of 3,000 Liters per Second

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung launched Buaran III Water Treatment Plant (IPA) in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Tuesday (5/6). The facility has capacity 3,000 liter per second. This is the highest capacity in Jakarta.

Pramono explained that PAM Jaya has a target to fulfill 100 percent of water needs in 2029. Now the clean water coverage is more than 70 percent.

Pramono also emphasized the importance of PAM Jaya providing easy services for the community in getting water. He also expressed his openness to serve water requests from Bekasi residents.
Pramono asked the board of directors, commissioners, and management of PAM Jaya to work hard in achieving the target of clean water service coverage of 100 percent by 2029.
PAM Jaya Director, Arief Nasrudin is committed to realize the target. Various programs have also been completed during the 100-day work program of Governor Pramono.
Those are the provision of water tanks in areas with low supply, installation of water purifiers in public facilities, and suction of household waste in collaboration with Paljaya.
