100 Residents Attend Fishery Product Processing Training

East Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Sub-agency Head, Taufik Yulianto said the training was opened by East Jakarta Assistant of Economy and Development, Fauzi.
This training aims to provide insight and knowledge related to processing fishery products.
"The training involves instructors who are competent in processing fish as a raw material for food," he said, Tuesday (5/6).
He added that the participants learned how to make fish dimsum, shrimp bitterbalen, and tuna samosa curry.
Taufik explained that consuming fish is very important. The protein affects children's growth and development.
"We try to increase fish consumption number in Jakarta," he explained.
East Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Sub-agency's Fishery Section Head, Meida Simare Mare stated the training held on May 6-7, 2025 presents Chef Neni who is also Founder and Owner of Rumah Racik Cooking Class, and Yuni as a photografer and Owner of Depok Strudle.
"100 participants came from 10 districts by 80 people of KPKP Jakpreneur and 20-non Jakpreneur KPKP people who registered from social media," she explained.
Participants will get assistances such as vacuum sealer and gas stove with its regulator.
Meanwhile, one of participants, Nur Husni (60) admitted excited to attend the training.
"I may apply my knowledge for business," she admitted.
