Legislator Dorong Disnakertransgi DKI Gelar Job Fair Digital

Legislator Recommends Disnakertransgi Hold Digital Job Fair

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Vice Chairperson Basri Baco requested the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Agency to innovate in organizing job fairs to facilitate employment opportunities for Jakarta residents.

"...to enhance these programs with a more modern approach,"

He belives that innovation in job fair implementation can serve as a solution for companies seeking workers while simultaneously assisting Jakarta residents in finding employment.

Council Encourages Optimization of Job Fair Implementation

"Disnakertransgi should act as matchmaker. That's why I previously requested that more job fairs be held," he stated on Friday (5/16).

Basri appreciated Disnakertransgi's efforts in organizing various job fairs. However, he believes it's time to enhance these programs with a more modern approach, such as implementing digital system.

"One of the breakthrough is the Job Fair Goes to Campus. So, major universities are involved. But this is still conventional," he added.

He emphasized that conducting job fair digitally would make it easier for companies and job seekers to interact. This concept is envisioned as a digital mall that efficiently connects both parties.

"While we are assessing whether Jakarta lacks job opportunities or lacks qualified workers," he said.
