Transjakarta Academy Job Training Launched to Improve Services

PT Transjakarta officially launched the Transjakarta Academy Job Training Institute (LPK) to improve the competence of drivers to be more professional and ready to provide the best and quality services.

We run three main programs

PT Transjakarta Director, Welfizon Yuza said the LPK launching is a form of the company's commitment to improve the quality of service through the development of Human Resources (HR), especially the drivers.

"LPK Transjakarta is a training ecosystem that must continue to be developed. We run three main programs," he said, Tuesday (5/20).

The first program, he added, is new skilling, this is basic training for new drivers before they start their duties.

The second program is reskilling, which is intended for drivers who will be prepared to become instructors. They will undergo special training so that they are able to educate and guide other drivers.

"The third program is refreshment training, both for drivers and instructors. This training is conducted routinely every year to continue to sharpen and improve competency, even though they already have certification," he continued.

Welfizon also appreciated Jakarta Provincial Government, BUMD's Governing Body, Transportation Agency, Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency, and Jakarta City Council for supporting and attending the launching.

Jakarta BUMD's Governing Body Chairman, Syaefuloh Hidayat appreciated the Transjakarta's initiative. He assessed that LPK is a step forward in improving the human resources quality in transportation sector.

"Transjakarta is not only focused on services, but also on developing the skills and soft skills of its drivers. This is an important part of realizing Jakarta as a global city with comfortable, friendly, and easily accessible transportation," he stated.
