Art Market Exhibition 2025 at Maritime Musem, Visit Now!

North Jakarta City Secretary, Fredy Setiawan opened the Art Market Exhibition 2025 at Maritime Musem, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. The exhibition is held from May 20 to June 2, 2025.

100 paintings are exhibited in the event

This exhibition aims to display the best works in the field of painting about the glory, wealth and maritime culture of the archipelago.

"North Jakarta Administration supports the event fully. This cultural arts exhibition is extraordinary, featuring a variety of traditional works that are harmonized modernly," he said, Tuesday (5/20).

He hopes this event can be example for other industries to be more developed and innovated. Go international art works surely will boost the local creative economy.

The person in charge of the 2025 Art Market Exhibition, Anung Muchamad Mu'min, explained that the 14-day exhibition will feature various activities, ranging from seminars, painting auctions, theatrical contemporary art performances, musical entertainment, to bazaars.

"The exhibition presents talented artists from various regions. A total of 100 paintings are exhibited in the event," he stated.

He explained that this exhibition is the first with the aim of reminding the public that Indonesia has a broad and global maritime identity.

He wants this exhibition to be a learning place by providing an interesting visual and interactive experience.

"Thanks to all parties who have supported this exhibition. We as  artists also need space to work. Hopefully these works can be an inspiration for all," he added.
