Illegal Parking, 40 Vehicles in South Jakarta Netted

The South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency cracked down on 40 vehicles due to illegal parking in the past week.

Hopefully, more and more drivers will obey traffic rules

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Operational Controller, Ebenezer Lumban Tobing said the 40 netted vehicles were netted from Pancoran and Kebayoran Baru sub-districts.

"In Pancoran, we cracked down on illegal parking on Jalan Rawajati Barat and on Jalan Senopati Raya in Kebayoran," he expressed, Friday (5/23).

Of 40 vehicles, 21 were netted from Jalan Senopati Raya, where two were ticketed, one was flattened, and three were grounded.

Then 13 others were netted from Jalan Rawajati Barat, where two were ticketed and two received a dossier on the spot.

"Those grounded vehicles are sent to the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency for further action," he explained.

He asserted the raid against illegal parking would continue to be intensified in South Jakarta.

"We also continue to urge drivers to be more compliant while driving," he stressed.

The action received appreciation from one of the residents, Fadli (38).

"Hopefully, more and more drivers will obey traffic rules," he hoped.
