The Representative Office (KPw) of Bank Indonesia (BI) DKI Jakarta Province is once again organizing the Jakarta Kreatif Festival (JKF) to enhance competitiveness and position Jakarta as a global economic and business hub.

"Jakarta's position as a creative and competitive city on a global scale,"

Taking place on June 4–8, 2025, at Gandaria City Mall, South Jakarta, JKF 2025 carries the theme "Strengthening Jakarta's Competitiveness as a Global City" and adopts the tagline INXPIRE (Innovate, Explore, Empower).

The event will be opened by Bank Indonesia's Senior Deputy Governor and attended by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung on June 4, 2025.

Head of BI's Jakarta Representative Office, Arlyana Abubakar, outlined three featured programs of JKF 2025, namely Enhancing Marketing and Financing Capacities, Digitalizing Secure and Reliable Payment Systems, and Maintaining Price Stability.

The main event will feature a showcase of products from 84 selected MSMEs with various categories, such as food and beverages, crafts, and fashion, reflecting the strength and diversisty of Jakarta's economic potential.

"Not only as a promotional event, this showcase is also a stage to prove that MSMEs are able to compete in domestic and global market with the support of innovation, financing, and digitalization," she conveyed, Friday (5/23).

She explained that MSME showcase will be also accessible online through JKF 2025 landing page on e-commerce platforms Shopee and Blibli, involving over 300 Jakarta MSMEs.

"MSME products that are promoted consist of MSMEs under Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Jakarta Province and MSMEs under Jakarta PPKUKM Agency," she added.

Besides, the event will feature educational booths and services, including consumer complaint consultations, digital tax services, rupiah currency exchange, digital urban tourism information, and education on QRIS and Cinta Bangga Paham (CBP) Rupiah program.

To enhance audience literacy, talk shows will discuss topics related to payment digitalization, halal lifestyles, consumer protection, financial inclusion, MSME exports, Syaria economy, and processed food products.

JKF 2025 will also enlivened by live music performance and interactive games, open to the public and free of charge.

Arlyana noted that this fifth JKF continues to bring fresh energy by offering interactive workshops from supported MSMEs and creative communities, such as papercraft workshop with Ichinogami Papercraft Expert, crocheting workshop with HookandGo Crochet community, and coffee brewing workshop with Komunitas Barista Indonesia.

JKF 2025 will be also enlivened with public competitions open to public, including photograpy contests, public service advertisement video contests, and social media content creation contests.

Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Office for DKI Jakarta Province will also facilitate business matching sessions between MSMEs, financial institutions, and potential buyers.

"Business matching with financial institution aims to promote MSMEs' access to financing, while business matching with potential buyers seeks to expand MSMEs access and excalate their sales transactions.

JKF 2025 involves various stakeholders, including the government, business actors, banking institutions, state-owned and regional-owned enterprises, communities, academics, and e-commerce platforms.

Arlyana conveyed that JKF 2025 not only serves as a platform for promotion and education, but also a stage for cross-sector collaboration and innovation.

"Through the spirit of INXPIRE, JKF 2025 is expected to be a collaborative event to strengthen the empowerment of local economic actors and Jakarta's position as a creative and competitive city on a global scale," she said.
