16,530 Residents to Get Social Assistance

Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency determined 16,530 residents to receive Basic Needs Fulfillment (PKD) social assistance program term III 2025.

Some of the beneficiary data has been checked

Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Abdul Salam said 16,530 residents determined to receive social assistance are spread in eight districts.

Disbursement of KLJ, KPDJ, and KAJ Funds Begins Today

"The social assistances are distributed for Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Jakarta Child Card (KAJ), and Jakarta People With Disability (KPDJ) programs," he said, Friday (5/23).

He added that his side also had distributed first term to 17,131 residents during January to March.

"Also in term 2 in April 2025 by 16,703 residents," he added.

Abdul continued the beneficiaries determination has gone through data checking at Population and Civil Registration Agency and Jakarta Regional Revenue Board.

"Population and tax data checking were run to ensure social assistance beneficiaries are on target," he continued.

According to him, his side also submitted the data to Social Ministry for further checking.

"Some of the beneficiary data has been checked at the ministerial level to ensure that residents receive social assistance twice," he stated.
