Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency organized basic training and guidance for 44 Community Social Workers (PSM)and 8 Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) on Tuesday (5/27).

Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency's Social Empowerment Section Acting Head (Plt), Nur Azizah stated that the training and guidance were provided to enhance the capacity and professionalism of PSM and TKSK who are the forefront of social services in the community.

"This aims to broaden their knowledge and motivation when carrying out social welfare services for the community," she conveyed.

Central Jakarta Administrative Sub-division Head, Rian Permana Putra, explained that TKSK is responsible for coordinating social welfare programs, identifying community needs, and ensuring that social assistance is distributed appropriately.

Meanwhile, PSM are social volunteers who play a key role in building trust and relationships with the community, ensuring that social interventions runs smoothly and sustainably

After attending the training and guidance, he hopes these social workers will be able to establish a solid network, increase innovation and social awareness within their respective communities.

"Let’s unite in creating a more prosperous, inclusive, and equitable society in Central Jakarta," he said.
