Empang Air Mancur Park will Be Renovated in 2016

In the upcoming 2016, West Jakarta Parks and Cemetry Department is about to rehabilitate some green open spaces (RTH), Empang Air Mancur Park. One of the parks is a 2,500-square-meter wide park located at Jalan Semeru, Grogol Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan.

Head of West Jakarta Park and Cemetery Sub- Department, Djauhari Arifin acknowledged several public facilities in the RTH will be improved, such as fountain, fence, tree and grass. Additional facility will also be done, such as children's playground and trash can.

“In sya Allah (God willing), the rehabilitation project will be realized in 2016,” he said, Thursday (6/25).

Meanwhile, Head of Grogol Urban Village, Febriandri Suharto vindicated the damage to public facilities in the Empang Air Mancur Park has been going on for a long time. He hoped, the park could immediately be improved as many local people visit that park, especially in the afternoon.

Relaying on beritajakarta.com’s data, the park is always crowded by people. Many of them spend their time with family, lover, and friend.

Besides cool atmosphere, the locals also spoiled by some food peddlers, starting from ketoprak (noodle and tofu in peanut sauce), soto (beef and coconut milk sauce), mie ayam (chicken noodles), es cendol (rice flour droplets in sweetened coconut milk) and coffee.

Sadly, it is not supported by sufficient garden conditions. There are park light and fountain are damaged, unavailability of trash cans, and the reservoir's water color turned into green.
