Pramono Invites His Residents to Support E-Prix 2025 Event

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, popularly known as Pram, invited Jakartans to support the smooth and successful execution of the Formula E electric motorsport race, which falls on June 21, 2025.

He delivered his invitation while reviewing the mock-up display of the Formula E car, after morning exercise in the Car Free Day (CFD) area, at Bundaran HI, Jalan MH Thamrin, Menteng on Sunday (6/8) morning.

"Today, we witness the third generation EVO replica as a symbol of Jakarta giving full support for Formula E and the green system in the event like this," he expressed.

He explained the Jakarta Government would provide easier access for Indonesian citizens to enliven the Formula E event.

"Once again, we hope that Jakarta people will fully support by buying tickets and watching Formula E live," he explained.

He was optimistic that it would run well, smoothly, excitingly, healthily, and happily for all the spectators.

"This event can have an economic impact on Jakarta specifically, and Indonesia as a whole," he added.

Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) Vice Chairman and also the Steering Committee for Jakarta E-Prix, Ananda Mikola, explained the preparations for the Jakarta E-Prix circuit had reached 90 percent, with the quality of the asphalt being quite good over the past three years.

"Overall, we are ready, there are just a few parts that need to be repainted," he explained.

He added ticket sales for Jakarta E Prix have reached 10,000 so far, which is 50 percent of the total target of 20,000 spectators.

He added that the committee was also ready to face technical challenges, including being prepared with rain gear when it rains.

"The message from the organization of Formula E 2025, Jakarta's campaign ranks 50th among global cities. We're showing the world that Jakarta is heading in a good direction towards going green," he said.
