Tanah Abang Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari said the channel is normalized to accommodate water in large quantities, especially during the rain.

She explained, this channel is 125 meters long with dimensions of 60x60 centimeters in height and width.
"This also aims to prevent flooding when it rains," she explained.
The normalization received appreciation from one of the locals, Ahmad (45) from Jalan Singkarak, RW 03.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), our complaint has been followed up so that residents no longer worry during heavy rain," he stated.
