Jakarta's Priority Programs Reach Initial Targets, Says DPRD Deputy

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Deputy Chairperson, Ima Mahdiah, appreciated the achievements of Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung and Vice Governor Rano Karno in their first 100 days in office.

Among the programs are the expansion of KJP Plus for 707,622 students and KJMU for 16,979 college students, as well as the release of 1,315 diplomas that had been withheld by schools.
Ima also commended advancements in the transportation sector, such as expansion of Transjabodetabek services, development of MRT and LRT systems, and opening 24-hour parks as new public spaces for residents.
"The commitment to continue and accelerate the development of integrated mass transprotation is crucial to addressing traffic congestion," she stated.
She mentioned that the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) program, which has trained 960 residents, along with the efforts to expand access to clean water through the distribution of water tanks and Healthy Water Card, also deserve support.
According to her, the digital public service through the updated JAKI application with 11 new features is a concrete effort to advance Jakarta as a global city.
"But we must not be complacent. The initial foundation is good, but many challenges lie ahead," she expressed.
Ima also encourages Jakartans to continue supporting and monitoring the implementation of development programs to realize a better and more equitable Jakarta.
