Council Appreciates City's PAD Achievement Exceeding Target

Jakarta City Council held a plenary meeting to listen Jakarta Vice Governor speech regarding the Regional Regulation Draft on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2024 Fiscal Year APBD (P2APBD).

City Budget implementation has been very good

Jakarta City Council, Khoirudin appreciated the Jakarta Provincial Government's revenue achievement that exceeded the target. Generally, he assessed, regional original revenue and regional spending performance run very well.

"According to the Vice Governor speech, City Budget implementation has been very good, or I could say excellent," he said, Tuesday (6/10).

He explained that PAD realization reached Rp 50.74 trillion or 100.55% of the target of Rp 50.46 trillion. According to him, this achievement deserves appreciation, especially because the Jakarta Provincial Government has again received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK).

However, Khoirudin emphasized that future PAD targets should be adjusted to the real potential income owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"I appreciate the BPKD performance for achieving the target. It is hoped the 100 percent achievement can be maintained in the future," he added.

Khoirudin is also optimistic that the Jakarta Provincial Government priority programs can be realized with a budget absorption rate of above 90 percent. He also ensured that the Jakarta City Council has approved all budgets proposed by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"It means that the government's performance can be said to be very good with a predicted realization percentage of above 90 percent," he said.
