City Council Chairman Appeals Resident to Use Public Transportation

Jakarta City Council Chairman, Khoirudin appealed all residents to use public transportation as a step to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution in Jakarta.
Jakarta should be more comfortable
Khoirudin is supporting the Governor Instruction Number 6/2025 which requires state civil servants within the Jakarta Provincial Government to use public transportation every Wednesday.
As part of commitment, Khoirudin takes bicycle from his official house heading to Jakarta City Council on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta.

He added that Jakarta is targeting to enter the top 50 global cities in the next five years, and one of the important indicators is air quality.
"Jakarta should be more comfortable if all of us use public transportation," he stated.
