Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, requests that increasing the number of health workers in Seribu Islands be a priority, both doctors and nurses.
One of the problems is the lack of health workers
He stated this statement after personally inspecting the healthcare facilities on Kelapa Island and the P3KD health service boat owned by the Health Agency (Dinkes).
"One of the problems is the lack of health workers. And I've asked the Dinkes to find a solution immediately," he expressed, Friday (7/4).
Pramono Instructs Regent to Fix Water Problems on Kelapa IslandOverall, he assessed the healthcare services on Kelapa Island to be very good. He also admitted to being surprised that children's eye health on Kelapa Island is much better than that of children elsewhere. This was due to the high fish consumption among the island children.
"Nevertheless, stunting must also be addressed, thus we can handle complaints in the field," he asserted.
Aside that, Pramono also requested health workers always be on standby on the ambulance boat for optimal service.
"They (health workers) have to be on standby," he stated.
