Tanah Tinggi Low Cost Market Flocked by Residents

Entering 11th day of Ramadhan, Jakarta Provincial Governmnet held low-cost market again in Tanah Tinggi Flat on Jalan Baladewa, Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta.

We also provide staples' package for Rp 50 thousand which contains a kilogram of sugar, a piece of sariwangi tea, 2 pieces of indomie soto flavor, and 2 liter of frying oil

 

The market which is sells low-cost staples immediately flocked by citizens. The citizens admitted that helped by this market existence in the middle of staples price skyrocketing.

Some of staples which sold in the market are flour for Rp 7 thousand per kilogram, sugar for Rp 10 thousand per kilogram, frying oil for Rp 10 thousand per kilogram, rice for Rp 44 thousand per kilogram, and beef for Rp 85 thousand per kilogram.

 

"We also provide staples' package for Rp 50 thousand which contains a kilogram of sugar, a piece of sariwangi tea, 2 pieces of indomie soto flavor, and 2 liter of frying oil," told Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives Department (KUMKMP) Secretary, Irwandi, Monday (6/29).

 

According to him, the low-cost market which intended to help citizen in getting staples will be held in 5 municipalities during Ramadhan.

 

"We deliberately chose the location in densely populated areas," told Irwandi.

 

Ali Hasan (45), a Tanah Tinggi resident admitted greatly helped by this activity. "I hope the government also holds same market ahead of Eid Ul-Fitr because it very helps our economy," he hoped.
