He said the Constitutional Court (MK) decision still requires further regulations through a Government Regulation (PP) currently being prepared by the central government.

"The Constitutional Court decision must be further managed through Government Regulation which is being prepared by the central government," said Pramono, Friday (7/11).

Jakarta had already planned to make tuition free in 40 private schools. However, with the MK desicision, Jakarta Provincial Government will await central government regulations before issuing a Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) to regulate its implementation in Jakarta.

"We will provide Gubernatorial Decree after this," he added.

However, Pramono is optimistic that Jakarta will be better prepared to implement the free private school policy than other regions.

"Jakarta is more well prepared since this policy is already in our program," he admitted.
