21 Damaged Roads in Cilincing Repaired

The Yellow taskforce of Cilincing District Bina Marga Unit, North Jakarta has repaired 21 potholes on Jalan Eaya Cilincing and Jalan Cenderawasih.
Potholes could endanger road users
Cilincing District Bina Marga Unit Head, Hartanto said the potholes repair was based on field monitoring. According to him, the road was damaged due to the high rainfall in the past few days.
"Potholes could endanger road users. We repaired 21 potholes today," he said, Friday (7/11).
Damaged Due to Rain, Roads on Harapan Island Being RepairedHartanto explained that the potholes were varied in size, from 1x0.5 meters to 2x1 meters. The repairs were carried out by eight workers using a jackhammer and a baby roller.
"This road repair required 70 sacks of cold-mix asphalt. This material dries quickly and allows vehicles to pass through immediately," he added.
Agung (42), resident of Sukapura, appreciated the road repaired. He assessed the damaged road could endanger the road users.
"They quickly repair the damaged roads. Hopefully it lasts longer," he admitted.
