City Government will Tighten Supervision of Subsidized Food Distribution

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung said Jakarta Provincial Government is about to tighten the supervision of subsidized food for Jakarta Pintar Card (KJP) holders.

Surely the supervision will be tighten up

This is run to minimize the possibility of cheating that take advantage of residents' difficulties in queuing and obtaining subsidized goods.

"Surely the supervision will be tighten up," he said, Thursday (7/24).

Pramono acknowledged that there were still queues of residents trying to buy subsidized goods. He also didn't rule out the possibility of foul play in this matter.

"When people go shopping, they're often told the goods were sold out. Or they're told to queue until the afternoon, or even wait until the next day," he added.

However, he doubted the existence of brokers distributing subsidized food aid to KJP holders. He explained that shopping locations for KJP holders have been determined before.
