The water channel dredging on Jalan Kapuk, RT 09/03, Bambu Apus Urban Village, right in front of SMKN 64, finally completed.

Cipayung Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Dian Kartika said, the channel dredging was conducted along approximately 10 meters with the involvement of eight personnel.
"This channel was dredged, as it was strewn by mud and garbage with 50 centimeters thickness. If left unattended, this will cause flooding during rain," he expressed, Friday (7/25).
Residents Appreciate Dredging of Bambu River ChannelAccording to him, around three cubic meters or 179 sacks filled with sediment, mud, and garbage had been cleared from the channel.
"It started on July 23 and was completed yesterday," he explained.
Aside that, repair was also made to the damaged channel supports and covers.
"Hope it can prevent flooding when it rains," he hoped.
The work received appreciation from one of the locals, Sulaeman (42).
"This dredging is important to improve the capacity of the channels to prevent flooding," he said.
