Mayor Anwar Ensures Facilitation of Barito Loksem Traders' Relocation

South Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar emphasized that the relocation of traders has been well facilitated to the Temporary Location (Loksem) JS 25, JS 26, and JS 30 Barito, Kramat Pela Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

According to him, the existing vendors were given free rent at the new location until the prepared business site in Lenteng Agung is completed.

"Please choose which market you think is representative. We will assist as long as the market is under the law of Perumda Pasar Jaya," he expressed, in written statement, Wednesday (8/6).

South Jakarta Mayor Ensures Barito Traders Relocation will Be Humane

Besides offering temporary relocation policies to markets, South Jakarta City administration was committed to assisting traders in moving their goods without incurring costs.

"I want the relocation agreement to be made with awareness for the good and the mutual interests," he explained.

He ensured that the government gives great attention to entrepreneurs, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

"The policy that needs to be implemented at this time for Loksem Barito traders has referred to or is following South Jakarta Mayor Decree Number e-0096/2024 on the Designation of Micro Business/Street Vendors Locations in the South Jakarta Administrative City Area for 2024," he closed.
