Now, he and other traders feel more comfortable because the loksem building is now nicer and neater, thus it feels comfortable for himself and the visitors who come.

He has been selling at Loksem JS 26 since 1983. He was grateful to the Jakarta Provincial Government for paying attention to small traders' fate. Moreover, the levy that must be paid to the Jakarta Government through Bank DKI by Rp 4,000 per day, which is not to be burdensome for them.
"After being revitalized, the kiosk is nicer and tidier. Moreover, the front uses a rolling door making it easier for us to open and close the kiosk. Previously, we only used tarpaulin," he admitted who lives in Cipulir, Kebayoran Lama.
The same statement was also expressed by Sugiarti (64), fruit parcel and ceramic trader at Loksem JS 26 No. 2. She assessed, after being revitalized, it made her feel more safe and comfortable when selling.
"Previously, the kiosk building was damaged and leaked. But now it's nice and neat. Plus, the sidewalk in front of Loksem 26 has also been repaired, it's more comfortable for visitors who come. I thank the Jakarta Government for revitalizing the Loksem," she admitted.
South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Dedy Dwi Widodo explained that the revitalization of Loksem 26 and 30, which are inhabited by fruit and culinary traders began in mid-October 2022. The current condition of the stalls is 2.5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. The budget used to revitalize is Rp 1,198,686,760.
There are 52 stalls consisting of 18 traders in Loksem 26 who sold fruit and 34 traders in Loksem 30 who opened culinary businesses. As for the handing over of the kiosk keys, it had been carried out since a week ago.
"Hopefully, the community's economy will grow again and I ask traders to maintain cleanliness and kiosks," he stated.
