Jakarta and Central Sulawesi Provincial Governments Explore Collaboration Opportunities

The Jakarta Provincial Government opens cooperation opportunity with Central Sulawesi Provincial Government. The meeting held today at City Hall was attended by Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung and Central Sulawesi Governor, Anwar Hafid.

The meeting discussed three main areas of cooperation namely capacity building for state civil servants, management of regionally-owned enterprises, and adoption of technology for public services.

"His visit is to collaborate and at the same time learn more about several things, including about ASN, BUMD, and I also offered to learn about JAKI," he said.

Pramono offered the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government the to learn about the Jakarta Terkini (JAKI) application, which he believes is crucial for facilitating governance in the modern era. He also expressed his openness to Jakarta becoming a major market for agricultural products, durian, and fisheries from Central Sulawesi.

Regarding the development of regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD), Pramono stated that Jakarta has 14. He stated that more than half of them are in good health. He also targeted two Jakarta BUMDs to be listed on the stock exchange within the next year.

Meanwhile, Central Sulawesi Governor, Anwar Hafid stated that his visit to Jakarta was to learn from the Jakarta Provincial Government's experience in managing government and improving the quality and capacity of their human resources.

According to him, Jakarta is an example of advanced government services and its ability to manage a diverse society.

"We all know that Jakarta is a provincial government that is very advanced," he stated.

Anwar also wants to learn how to use the JAKI application for public services and learn about managing regional-owned enterprises, especially in the food sector.

Anwar wants to explore opportunities for collaboration in the agriculture and fisheries sectors of Central Sulawesi. In the banking sector, Anwar wants to learn about the governance of Bank Jakarta.

"We also want to have bank like Bank Jakarta," he admitted.
