Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency plans to provide single call center in order to ease public accessing population administration information and service.

Agency Head, Denny Wahyu Haryanto admitted his party has not had an integrated information service center so far.
"We relied solely on the WhatsApp numbers of the Head of the Service Unit and the Head of the Sector. This has made it difficult for the public to obtain official information," he said, Thursday (8/7).

One example is when residents want to verify information regarding the activation of Digital Population Identity (IKD), which has recently been frequently used as a method for cybercrime.
He added that his side has submitted a request for number 15031 to be designated as the official call center for the Jakarta Dukcapil Agency.
"The 031 is the code for the Jakarta region. This number will serve as a single information center for the public regarding civil registration services," he added.
Denny stated this call center system is targeted to operate next year.
"We'll strengthen this call center service," he stated.
