90 People Activate IKD at South Jakarta Mayor's Office

Some 90 people made digital population identities (IKD) activation at the local Mayor's office initiated by Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency (Dukcapil).

Very fast service

South Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency Head, Muhammad Nurrahman said this service aimed to accelerate IKD activation for Jakartans, especially in South Jakarta.

"Herein, we focus on state civil apparatus (ASN), PJLP, and female cadres in the South Jakarta Mayor's office. We send eight personnel to smoothen it," he expressed, Thursday (1/25).

West Jakarta Recorded 49,905 e-ID Cards

Through IKD, people's population administration documents would be stored digitally on their respective smartphones or devices. It makes it easier to search or reprint if the document is lost or damaged.

"Apart from adminduk, such as KTP and Family Card, IKD is also integrated with other documents such as NPWP, BKN for ASN, BPJS, vaccine cards, etc," he explained.

Apriyanto (40), a PJLP Cleaning Service at the South Jakarta Mayor's office admitted today's IKD activation service was very convenient.

"Very fast service, in less than 10 minutes, my data was already in the IKD application on my cellphone," he stated.
