Khoirudin Supports Transjabodetabek Service Expansion

Jakarta City Council Chairman, Khoirudin, responded positively to the expansion of Transjakarta services to the suburban areas of the capital.

I am pleased with the expansion of this service 

The expansion of services through Transjabodetabek is deemed to provide affordable and comfortable public transportation options for residents living in the surrounding areas.

"I am pleased with the expansion of this service for residents around Jakarta including Tangerang, Bogor, Bekasi, and Depok," he expressed, at City Council building, Thursday (8/14).

Khoirudin Ensures 2026 Regional Budget Focuses on Public Services and Infrastructure

His party will keep supporting the allocation of Public Service Obligation (PSO) funds to maintain the sustainability of various public transportation modes, such as MRT, LRT, Transjakarta, and the integrated JakLingko services.

"Transportation is a major expense for the community. We ensure the budget is sufficient so that services remain affordable," he explained.

He continued, Jakarta's public transportation system has now become a reference for other regions in Indonesia. This service has even received recognition from international organizations such as the World Bank.

"We ensure that the budget is sufficient to support transportation operations for the best service for Jakarta residents," he stated.
