S. Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Enlivens Independence Day with Various Competitions

The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency held an event named 'Semarak Kemerdekaan 17 Agustus 1945' to enliven the Independence Day.

Hundreds of personnel of the sub-agency and its unit participated the event held at Gudang Minyak Reservoir, Pasar Minggu District.

Various Competitions Enliven the 80th Independence Day in RW 01 Panggang Island

Sub-agency's Section of Maintenance Head, Junjung, said various competitions were held to enliven the commemoration of the Indonesian Independence Day, starting from fishing, catching ducks, tug of war, to marching.

"We invited the civil servants and PJLP to enliven the competitions," he said, Monday (8/18).

Junjung explained that with the spirit of togetherness and sportsmanship, this activity is expected to be able to strengthen ties between employees and foster a sense of nationalism in the momentum of the commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day.

"They are still doing their work as best as possible even though they are taking part in competitions," he added.

Meanwhile, one of the coordinators of Pesanggarahan SDA Units, Halim, admitted happy to participate in the competitions. Winners of the competitions get interesting prizes.

"We're so excited to win the competitions today," he admitted.
