Transjakarta Deploys Personnel to Address Delays on Several Routes

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) delivered an apology for the inconvenience experienced by Transjakarta users on Tuesday morning (8/19) due to congestion in several areas that impacted Transjakarta services.

"We have deployed personnel at crucial points,"

Head of Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, said that the company remains committed to providing safe and comfortable services for all customers in all conditions.

"We apologize for the inconvenience experienced while using Transjakarta services this morning. We have deployed personnel at crucial points to help ease congestion and ensure smoother travel for our customers," she conveyed. Tuesday (8/19).

The Rp 80 Public Transportation Fare in Jakarta is Valid for Two Days

Here are several Transjakarta services that were affected:

- Corridor 13: Congestion occurred from Puri Beta towards Petukangan (Tegal Mampang). To anticipate the buildup of passengers, Transjakarta strengthened operations along Tegal Mampang-JORR route.

- UKI, Cawang, and surrounding areas: Heavy traffic in UKI area heading to BNN and Tanjung Priok caused bus queues in Cawang Sentral Bus Stop. It was severed by excavation work in Penas Kalimalang that affected 7, 9, 10 routes and several non-BRT routes such as 5C, 7C, 7D, 7P, 7W, 9A, 9C, D11, and JAK75.

- Halim Toll Road: Congestion at Halim Toll exit affected the operation of B11, B21, B41, and 7P routes. 

- Other areas: Congestion was also reported in Pemuda Rawamangun (affecting C, 4D, 4K routes), Pondok Indah (8, S21, JAK.102 routes), and Palmerah (8C and 9E routes).

"To get the latest information about Transjakarta services, customers can access the TJ: Transjakarta application or Transjakarta's social media accounts," she explained.
