May the boats be able to dock and sail safely
One of the residents from RW 02, Panggang Island Urban Village, Adi (39), expressed gratitude and appreciation for the implementation of residents' proposals through the Development Planning Forum 2024 (Musrenbang).
According to him, the current condition of the pond is concerning and has shrunk due to coastal erosion, resulting in a decreased capacity.

Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-agency's Port Development Section Head, Ahyus Wanto, asserted repairs to the Type T pier and dredging of the mooring basin are follow-up actions to the community's aspirations.
"This project has been underway since early August and is targeted to be completed by December 2025," he explained.
He explained, the budget allocation amounting to Rp 5 billion was spent on deepening the mooring pond and repairing the pier, covering an area of approximately 5,000 square meters.
"This pond has been excavated to three meters deep. Currently, the progress of the work has reached about 10 percent," he explained.
Hopefully, with the deepening of the anchoring pond and the repair of this dock, it could improve the safety and comfort of community shipping activities.
"May the boats be able to dock and sail safely without obstruction from sedimentation. The docks can also be accessed more safely, comfortably, and beneficially for the daily lives of the people of Panggang Island," he uttered.
