Transjakarta Focuses on Service, Calls on Citizens to #JagaJakarta

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) ensures that public transportation services are gradually returning to normal after several bus shelters were affected by vandalism and arson committed by irresponsible individuals.

"The situation on the ground is very dynamic, so we continuously conduct real-time monitoring,"

Transjakarta's Public Relations and CSR Department Head, Ayu Wardhani, said that Transjakarta took swift action by intensively monitoring the situation at the command center and coordinating with management teams.

"The situation on the ground is very dynamic, so we continuously conduct real-time monitoring. This is consistently done to enable the fastest decision-making regarding Transjakarta's service and operational policies," she said on Saturday (8/30).

Transjakarta Services Operating Situationally Today

Six Transjakarta bus shelters were reported burned, while 16 others suffered vandalism and other physical damage.

Transjakarta assures that bus services continue to operate gradually. She added that with the support of personnel in the field and intensive coordination at the control center, passengers can now access services on various routes again.

Transjakarta also urges the public to work together in protecting public facilities. This call is part of the #JagaJakarta campaign, which emphasizes the importance of community cooperation in safeguarding public facilities, including transportation infrastructure.

"Let's take care of public facilities so that everyone can continue to benefit from them," Ayu emphasized.

The six bus shelters that were burned are:

1. Polda Metro Jaya Bus Shelter

 

2. Senen Toyota Rangga Bus Shelter

  

3. Sentral Senen Bus Shelter

4. Senayan Bank DKI Bus Shelter

5. Gerbang Pemuda Bus Shelter

6. Bundaran Senayan Bus Shelter

Meanwhile, 16 bus shelters were vandalized and damaged, including:

1. Bendungan Hilir Bus Shelter

2. Kwitang Bus Shelter

3. Kampung Melayu Bus Shelter

4. Kramat Sentiong Bus Shelter

5. Bidara Cina Bus Shelter

6. Cililitan Bus Shelter

7. Semanggi Bus Shelter

8. Petamburan Bus Shelter

9. Widya Candra Telkomsel Bus Shelter

10. Jatinegara Bus Shelter

11. Kejaksaan Agung Bus Shelter

12. Matraman Baru Bus Shelter

13. Pemuda Pramuka Bus Shelter

14. Masjid Agung Bus Shelter

15. Gelora Bung Karno 1 Non-BRT Bus Shelter

16. Polda Metro Jaya 1 Non-BRT Bus Shelter
