Dinkes Ensures Readiness of 24-Hour Services in Jakarta

Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) declares the readiness of facilities and personnel to provide medical handling for residents 24 hours a day, in anticipation of incidents resulting from protests.

Referrals are also made to several community health centers

Jakarta Dinkes Head, Ani Ruspitawati explained that for several days, during the protests, they had provided various medical treatments.

As of Sunday (8/31) at 7 AM, 469 people had received health services, consisting of one death, 371 outpatient visits, and 97 inpatient stays.

"Based on humanitarian grounds, the government guarantees funding for healthcare services for patients affected by the protests," she expressed, Sunday (8/31).

According to her, the patients who got further treatment had been referred to various hospitals in Hermina Kemayoran Hospital, Kramat 128 Hospital, and Mintohardjo Naval Hospital.

Then RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Hospital, POLRI Hospital, Koja Hospital, Budhi Asih Hospital, Pelni Hospital, and Pertamina Central Hospital.

"Referrals are also made to several community health centers," she explained.

She went on to say that the readiness of the personnel continued to be ensured up to today around the clock. Besides 44 sub-district health centers and 31 public hospitals, all hospitals in Jakarta had coordinated to provide emergency services if needed.

She had also deployed 24 ambulances operating 24 hours a day.

Then emergency support is conducted by the Regional Crisis and Emergency Health Center (PK3D), together with the Emergency Response Team (Gadar) from the Community Health Center and Hospital. Technically, they had prepared seven doctors, 59 nurses, and seven ambulance drivers.

"This is our commitment to providing healthcare services to the community and ensuring that all victims affected by the protests receive prompt, safe, and appropriate medical treatment," she stated.
