Disdik Continues to Implement Learning Process

The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) will continue the learning process, whether at school or from home.

Jakarta Disdik Head, Nahdiana said, learning is maintained to meet children's right to educational services.

"Learning is conducted directly, either at school or at home," she expressed, Sunday (8/31).

According to her, educational institutions are permitted to conduct remote learning if the location is close to the protest site and there are access issues or requests from students' parents.

Schools far from the protest location or have no access issues could choose to conduct face-to-face learning either at school or at home.

"However, learning, whether directly at school or at home, is implemented after intensive communication with students' parents and members of the educational community through the school committee," she explained.

She explained, the principals of the education unit conduct accompaniment and monitoring during the learning process, and provides alternatives in case of obstacles during learning by coordinating with the Educatio Agency or Sub-agency.

"This notice will be effective starting Monday, September 1, 2025, until the next announcement," she concluded.
